A Mackay couple who selflessly put their lives on the line to help their community and Queenslandâs economy say they were simply fulfilling their ethical obligation to do what needed to be done in the face of crisis.
At the start of last yearâs COVID-19 pandemic, the local port authority and harbour master approached GP Dr John McIntosh and his wife Elizabeth McIntosh with a request that others before them had refused.
