Provision Fund hosts Corn Hole Event for Sheridan High – Sheridan Media

53 teams registered and played through a bracket set up by All-American wrestler, Reese Osborne and Black Hills State bound, Quinton Mangus. Gabe Bland and Sam Gregory ran the bracket and won $100, Provision Fund gear, and other small prizes. The duo defeated math teachers, Lonna Forister and Tim Daniels, for the grand prize. Although, the two did not walk away empty handed. Between them, and the final four, they were able to choose from prizes donated by SHS activities, the “Go Be WYO” Podcast, and Provision Fund to settle the score.
Brennan Keller, Provision Fund Outreach Coordinator, believes the event was a success, achieving its goal to bring young people together. “It was a privilege to see students from all grades and walks of life come together as one student body.” Keller states. “We truly are better, when we come together and contribute hard work. It took a lot of people to put this together, many got to benefit from that hard ....

The Scholar-Athlete Awards are based 40 percent on football ability, 40 percent on academic achievement, and 20 percent on Extra-Curricular activities and Citizenship in their respective schools and in their communities. Leadership roles are a great incentive in scoring. To qualify, a scholar-athlete must have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better, according to a release by the Wyoming Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF).
