Understanding that these are really investigations that are doing different things. the january 6th committee, of course, doesn t have the power to bring an indictment. they don t bring a criminal trial. what they are doing, really, is more telling the story of what happened on january 6th, building a public moral and political case against donald trump. they are certainly pushing the justice department on the criminal aspect as well. and the justice department is deciding whether to bring those high-level criminal cases. and as you say, pushing forward with these hundreds and hundreds of lower level charges and some significant charges of seditious conspiracy against the people who are actually rioting in the capital that day. and quinta, you wrote about the committees limits, the 16 committees limits, particularly, that, quote, the general six investigators messaging that the work has a hard deadline of january 2023. and because of that, there are surely difficult trade-offs being ....
