The ABC Young Performers Awards returns in 2021 with a new format

Entries are now open for the 2021 ABC Young Performers Awards, one of Australia’s most prestigious awards for young classical musicians.
The competition re-emerges from hiatus in a new online-only format to accommodate social distancing restrictions. Finals will be live-streamed on ABC Classic in November, 2021.
Roland Gridiger OAM, CEO of the Music & Opera Singers Trust (MOST) the body that took over management of the awards in 2016 says COVID-19 precautions have left many young musicians with few opportunities for performance and exposure.
“We decided that we should present a digital competition … to try to help those instrumentalists that have been confined to home, or haven’t had jobs, exposure, or haven’t had the chance to really take up their instruments and perform,” said Gridiger. ....

Milenković is the creative ambassador of the national platform Serbia creates and his engagement in Serbia will be mostly related to Novi Sad.
I will open a new concert hall in Novi Sad on January 13 with a streaming concert. I am happy for my pedagogical work with talented young people in Novi Sad. I will do my best to contribute as much as possible to the Novi Sad 2021 European Capital of Culture Foundation.
