Moy Valley IRD has bills to pay itself and cannot simply wipe away the rent owed by its business tenants at the Quay in Ballina, according to the CEO of Moy Valley Resources, Annette Maughan. Moy Valley Resources IRD is the landlord for the Quay Units and it’s a registered charity. Annette was responding this afternoon to a call by a business man renting one of the commercial units at the Quay for a rent reprieve or cessation as his business is closed due to the Government imposed Covid 19 lockdown ....

He is eleven years in business and he says it’s not easy to go public, but it is increasingly difficult to meet a weekly / monthly rent bill when your business is shut down.
