Theres not been sufficient training to roll it out in any way, shape or form by august 5th. Reporter the recommendation is to begin online. For the first two weeks, teachers will have zoom sessions to inform they will of the semesters expectations. Each family gets about 45 minutes. During the two weeks, teachers will assess their studens while they also work on homework. On week three, teachers will determine where students stand academically. From there they will be put into groups which the district has determined is the most effective way to teach students during this pandemic. Heres what oakland superintendent said in early july in anticipation of the plan.
