Lucknow: A doctor in Aligarh has lodged an FIR at Quarsi Police in Aligarh about his missing rare African breed Parrot, which costs anything between Rs 1.5 to 2.5 lakh. The doctor has announced a reward of Rs 5,000 to anyone bringing back his talking parrot.
The Congo African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus erithacus), also called the red-tailed African grey parrot, got missing a few days back from the house of its owner Dr S.K. Varshneyâs. Dr Varshney put up posters of the missing parrot and went door to door in surrounding areas in search of his favourite pet.
