After a two-year hiatus, the Business Expo, one of the highest-profile productions put on by the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce, is back and things get rolling at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
Dr. Lubna Maruf of the Arkansas Health Network in Little Rock
Dr. Lubna Maruf has been appointed chief medical officer and vice president of the Arkansas Health Network in Little Rock. Maruf previously served as medical director at Centene/QualChoice Health Insurance of Little Rock.
Maruf earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her internal medicine fellowship at Michael Reese Hospital & Medical Center at the University of Illinois.
Paige Jernigan has joined Heartland Forward of Bentonville as the director of development. Jernigan serves as a strategic adviser to a disaster relief startup, Everest Effect. She has given more than 15 years of service to educational institutions.
