Batam Customs and Excise Thwarted the Smuggling of Narcotics Worth IDR 52 Billion

Head of the Enforcement and Investigation Division (P2) of the BatamCustoms and Excise Main Service Office, Iwan Kurniawan said, there were 20,917.6 grams of narcotics class I, the type of metamphetamine or shabu.
Then, 30,039 items and 31.7 grams of ecstasy class I narcotics were used as goods of prosecution (BHP).
At the end of the 2020 period, Batam Customs had followed up the case handling of one case of smuggling of 137 grams of crystal methamphetamine carried by one of the passengers with the initials M at the Departure Terminal of Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam.
