Veterans Service Commission Director resigns amid controversy

On Thursday of last week, the Putnam County Veterans Service Commission board accepted the resignation of Veteran Service Commission Director Kristi Powell. Powell’s resignation was submitted the day before VSC board members — (from left) Brian Siefker, Mike Morman, Randy Gasser, Dennis Hanneman and Stan Oren — convened a special meeting to address grievances directed at the former director.
