Angeles City records zero dengue case in May

SunStar + July 04, 2021 THE Angeles City government has recorded zero case of dengue for May due to the intensified misting and fogging operations here all year round. Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. cited that the city saw a steady decline in the number of dengue cases during the first quarter of 2021. We want to keep it that way, especially now that the rainy season has started, Lazatin said. Records from the City Health Office (CHO) showed that the number of reported dengue cases has dropped to zero in May and five in April. There were 87 cases reported in January which decreased to 69 cases in February, and 41 cases in March.
