Canadian Superbike: Race Three Results And Report From Shannonville

More, from a press release issued by CSBK: Tremblay wins again, MacKay secures Sport Bike title in finale at SMP Shannonville, ON – A tough weekend ended on a much happier tone for Alex Dumas, as he closed out the year with a start-to-finish victory in race three of the GP Bikes Pro Superbike class at the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship finale at Shannonville Motorsport Park. With nothing but pride and stats left to play for in the last race of the year after the Canada Cup and Constructors Championship were clinched on Saturday, Dumas jumped out to an early lead on lap one and paced an exciting four-rider battle for majority of the contest, holding off champion Ben Young the entire way. The victory was dominant but hardly easy, as Young followed close behind his rival for all 14 laps while both outlasted an early assault from Trevor Dion and Jordan Szoke. Though the victory won’t make Dumas ....

Canadian Superbike: Race Two Results And Report From Shannonville

More, from a press release issued by CSBK: Young clinches third CSBK title after last-lap pass on Dumas     Shannonville, ON – For the first time in a half-decade, the Canada Cup is staying with its owner. Ben Young officially retained his #1 plate on Saturday, winning race two at Shannonville Motorsport Park to clinch the GP Bikes Pro Superbike class in the final round of the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship. It originally looked as though the title fight would at least proceed onto Sunday, as Alex Dumas grabbed the holeshot and led virtually from start-to-finish with Young settling into a comfortable second, needing to gain four points on Dumas in order to clinch. His pace began to ramp up dramatically in the final few laps, however, and the gap continued to drop as Young reeled in Dumas, pressuring him but still not showing any indication he would take the risk of passing his rival. That all changed ....

Canadian Superbike: Race Two And Race Three Results From CTMP

More, from a press release issued by CSBK: Young wins again in race two, Tremblay takes Sport Bike at CTMP Bowmanville, ON – The battle for the 2023 Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship continued to heat up on Sunday, as Ben Young won race two in the GP Bikes Pro Superbike feature class at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Similar to race one on Saturday, Young saw championship leader Alex Dumas grab the holeshot off the line, but again needed just a handful of corners to seize the lead from his main rival. Unlike race one, however, Young failed to break away from the chasing pack, as Sam Guerin moved past Dumas and quickly latched onto the reigning champion with the lead trio separating from an eight-rider group. Young would eventually squeeze out a slightly more comfortable gap, which would force Dumas to ramp up the pressure on Guerin in second, running nose-to-tail right to the final lap of the ....
