What about a hemp paper mill? As ST Paper considers a purchase of the shuttered Verso paper mill in West Duluth, hoping for some job-creation money, we might want to think about the next economy. That’s the post-Paul Bunyan, non-extractive economy that doesn’t pit workers against water. It’s time for a just transition, and Duluth could be a part of it.
