Radar. in much better shape now as what s left of lee moves out of the area. the tornado threat is gone for this area. the flood threat will go down. overall, it s looking much, much better for this area down towards new orleans where everything went a-okay over the weekend with the pumping system working. they pumped one canal, the london avenue canal, pumped out water. the other canals were fine. this was nothing like katrina. it was not a major hurricane pushing a lot of water up the river into the lake and against the levees. there was really never any concern as far as levee failure this time around. there we go. a lot of rain heading up the east coast. this could cause more problems in areas where they had issues with irene, including new jersey and up into vermont. thomas, back to you. we ve been talking about that. adding insult to injury. we ll continue to watch that. thanks, mike. labor day marks the official weekend of summer. many ocean front communities are not only sc ....
