The parents of baby Lily Daly have paid heartfelt tributes to their precious daughter, who passed away in their arms at Crumlin Children’s Hospital following a courageous battle.
Lily. from Ballyhar in Killarney, Co Kerry, had bravely fought against the rare heart condition Pulmonary Vein Stenosis (PVS) throughout her short life.
She was laid to rest on Tuesday, having died aged just 20 months.
Her parents, Caroline and Michael, said their ‘warrior’ had fought throughout her life and brought them so much joy in their time with her.
“Lily was a fighter. She was a heart warrior,” they said.
Despite a poor prognosis, her medical team and parents “left no stone unturned” in their fight to help Lily.

Lily was born in June 2019 with a rare heart condition, aggressive Pulmonary Vein Stenosis (PVS) and spent much of her life in Crumlin Children s Hospital.
Despite a poor prognosis, her medical team and her parents left no stone unturned in their fight to help Lily and, thankfully, the entire family got 20 wonderful months with her before she lost her courageous battle.
