Main Duties
· Assist the Public Health Research department lead in the overall work of the program, in administrative, technical and research-oriented tasks, working collaboratively with a team.
Assist in qualitative and quantitative research including literature review, research design, tool design, analysis and discussion, and generation of recommendations;
Assist in coordination of field team, and conduct field research in the form of focus groups, interviews, case studies, observations, and surveys;
Attend meetings with project partners;
· Assist in writing proposals and articles for publication.
Qualifications
● 1-3 years of experience in public health research;
● Excellent writing skills, and strong analytical research skills;
● Professional, detail-oriented, and organized, and strong interpersonal and communication skills;

The Public Health Research Department of New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) had conducted a study across the country in February 2020. The study aimed at determining the common cause of chronic diseases among Emiratis in the UAE. The ongoing project, which is being conducted in collaboration with various health-care stakeholders in UAE, aims to survey the health habits of more than 20,000 Emiratis in the age group of 18 and above. More than 9,000 Emiratis have already participated in the survey.
