On Tuesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned to Queensland, and Her Excellency resumed duties as Governor of Queensland.

Following, Her Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of two Bills: a Bill for an Act to amend the Coroners Act 2003, the Criminal Code, the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012, the Evidence Act 1977, the Oaths Act 1867, the Penalties and Sentences Act 1992, the Public Guardian Act 2014, the Telecommunications Interception Act 2009, the Youth Justice Act 1992 and the legislation mentioned in schedule 1 for particular purposes; and a Bill for an Act to amend the Cape York Peninsula Heritage Act 2007, the Central Queensland Coal Associates Agreement Act 1968, the Land Act 1994, the Land Regulation 2020, the Land Title Act 1994, the Mineral Resources Act 1989, the Place Names Act 1994, the Stock Route Man ....
