The minority caucus of the House of Representatives has fired back at the spokesman of the House, Hon. Ben Kalu over his statement that the call on the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami by the minority leader, Ndudi Elumelu to resign was not properly presented at the floor of the House.
The caucus said the order was properly cited by Elumelu, stressing that the matter was also debatable. ....

The minority caucus of the House of Representatives has faulted the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, for faulting how the Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu, called for a debate on the issues around the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
The opposition lawmakers stated that Elumelu came on the right order and Gbajabiamila should not have prevented a debate on the call.
The caucus also condemned Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Benjamin Kalu, for allegedly insulting the Minority Leader , asking the House’ spokesman to apologise to the Minority Leader.
A spokesman for the caucus, Francis Agbo, stated this in a statement issued on Friday, titled ‘Isa Pantami: Elumelu’s Motion Properly Presented on the Floor -Minority Caucus Replies House Spokesman…Caucus Insists on the Resignation of Minister Isa Pantami…Calls on House Spokesman to Apologise to the Minority ....

The Ali Pantami saga is snowballing into an in-house fight between members of the National Assembly.
This is as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives attacked the Spokesperson of the House, Ben Kalu for his comments on the Pantami saga.
Kalu had on Thursday said the Minority Leader, Ndudi Elemelu used the wrong legislative procedure in his call for the resignation of Pantami.
It would be recalled that Elumelu had on Wednesday during plenary raised a point of order, calling for the resignation or suspension of Pantami over his alleged links with extremists. ....
