The helicopters captured the remains of some of the 580 homes that were destroyed in middle town and surrounding communities. For the latest on the valley fire we go live to amber lee in middle town and amber youve seen the destruction yourself. It is going to be a long time before many of these families are truly back home. Reporter heather block after block, this is what people will be coming home to. In many cases, the home is gone and all that is left standing is a chimney. Theres an eerie desolation in the small communitys ravaged by the fire as people come to grips with their loss.
