Walsh said that also applies to those with severe disabilities and wildfire or other natural disaster victims. Proposed Bill Would Delay Controversial Property Tax Law A local state senator is working to delay a recently passed proposition that could cause the taxable value of inherited homes to rise. Sen. Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel) has introduced a bill that would delay the implementation of a portion of Prop. 19 until February 2023. “While Prop. 19 is now law, the measure is silent on some issues regarding implementation,” Bates said in a statement. “A two-year delay will give the state time to clarify how it will implement the ‘Property Tax Fairness for Family Homes’ provision. It will also give families additional time to seek professional advice on how a transfer of property to children will affect potential tax liabilities.” ....

Medical marijuana students actually come in to learn how to grow pot. but i wanted to bring you in here to show you an example of how much pot you would be able to grow legally under proposition 19 if it were passed. this is a 5 by 5-foot plot that is 25 square feet of marijuana and you would be able to grow that for personal consumption. now, you can t sell it. it is illegal to sell. but that is a personal consumption and you would be able to walk around i suppose with about an ounce of pot on you. but in terms of selling it, that is a whole different scene. you are saying that under this would be similar to prohibition if it is legalize the, correct? indeed. and we recognize that prohibition has failed since through prop 19 we can take cannabis out of the hands of criminal and take control and put it into a regulated market. so the laws will change ....
