The Bois de Callois reservoir, located in Walloon Brabant, Belgium, stores drinking water produced at the Tailfer plant in the Province of Namur. Water is collected from the Meuse and treated at the plant before being sent to the Bois de Villers reservoir by pumps. It then arrives by gravity in Mazy before continuing its journey to the Callois reservoir. This geographical choice allows water to be routed to various municipalities. The reservoir has an ingenious water circulation system preventing stagnation and bacterial proliferation via four compartments used alternately, ensuring mixing and oxygenation of the waters. Continuous quality analysis is carried out by Vivaqua's laboratory.
