Chinonye C. Ekwueme-Ugwu teaches courses in African, American and comparative literature in the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, UNN, where she obtained a Ph.D. in English and Literary Studies (2015) in the field of Literature and the Environment. With a B.A. (1997) and an M.A. (2009), in English from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2008), she had fifteen years prior teaching experiences in secondary and post-secondary institutions. She is a member of the Society for Academic Excellence, UNN.
