We re supposed to be a country of immigrants and a country that takes refugees from other parts of the world and presumably one of the strengths of the united states is that we re supposed to be able to have those people come into our country and they finds themselves being americans but this also harms american national security. basically by imposing these kinds of executive orders we are alienating allies, not just individual allies in places like iraq or syria or elsewhere, we re alienating our european allies because they ll have to shoulder much more of the burden and it potentially radicalized people in this country and out of this country who see the united states as an enemy of islam as opposed to an enemy of terrorism. daniel drezner, fletcher school of diplomacy at tuft s university, appreciate you taking time to talk to us about this tonight. thank you. thank you. ....
