Prof Arefin mourns death of ex-BUET VC Shafiullah

DHAKA, April 25, 2021 (BSS) – Dhaka University (DU) former Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Prof AMM Shafiullah.
In a message of condolence, he said Prof Shafiullah, a civil engineer and educationist, played an important role in the field of engineering education as the vice-chancellor of BUET and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST).
His death is an irreparable loss to not only in the field of engineering education but also in the country’s entire education system, he said. ....
