Ekiti Group Says Federal Varsity Registrar s Suspension Vindicates Youths, Accused Denies Allegations They claimed they had engaged in a series of protests, agitations and petitions against the appointment of the suspended Registrar. by SaharaReporters, New York Apr 22, 2021 A group under the aegis of Nigerian Youth Congress (Ekiti State chapter) has described the recent suspension of the Registrar of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Mr Olatunbosun Odusanya as vindicating youths in the state.  They claimed they had engaged in a series of protests, agitations and petitions against the appointment of the suspended Registrar.  They said the host state was not considered in the employment of principal officers as federal character system was not followed in the university employment system.

Vanguard News Fasina appointed as new FUOYE VC On By Rotimi Ojomoyela – Ado-Ekiti The governing council of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has announced the appointment of a professor of soil science, Abayomi Sunday Fasina as the new vice chancellor of the institution. Fasina who is the current deputy vice Chancellor (Administration) will succeed Professor Kayode Soromekun as the third substantive VC of the university in February.
