Over 50% teaching posts vacant in GMU Sambalpur: Gangadhar Meher University, an important educational institution in western Odisha, is facing severe shortage of teachers’ with more than 50% of the teaching positions lying vacant. Only two professors one each in political science and physics departments have been posted against 23 sanctioned posts. The rest 21 departments do not have professors.
