Captain Anup Kumar and raider Shrikant Jadhav combined to score 14 points as U Mumba defeated Haryana Steelers 38-32 in a Pro Kabaddi match on Wednesday.
Haryana Steelers paid the price for their lacklustre first half performance and their defence also struggled to score points.
Anup Kumar scored eight points for U Mumba whereas Vikas Kandola took nine points for Haryana Steelers.
Bengal Warriors defeated UP Yoddha by 40-20 registering their second successive win in Pro Kabaddi League 2017.
Warriors’ Vinod Kumar led from the front with eight points and played a key role in the victory. Other promoinent scorers include Jang Kun Lee and Maninder Singh with seven and six points respectively.
For the Yoddhas, Surender Singh was the highest scorer with five points while star player Rajesh Narwal got three.
Bengal s all-round supremacy won the day for them against the UP team, which had outclassed U Mumba yesterday.
Bengal Warriors were on the attack from the word go against a formidable rival, who had been unbeaten till date.

Star raider Rohit Kumar and defender Ravinder Pahal were named as captain and vice-captain respectively of the Bengaluru Bulls for the fifth season of the Pro-Kabaddi League.
After putting up a stellar show of grit and determination in the preceding seasons; Bengaluru Bulls announced the line-up of a young and dynamic squad for the upcoming season of Pro Kabaddi league starting July 28th.
