it took me a while to realize i was actually struggling with loneliness. loneliness is a great masqueraded. it can look like different things. some people become withdrawn. others are irritable and angry. i m going to be releasing this week a surgeon general s advisory on loneliness and isolation because i want to call the country s attention to this issue. for people out there struggling, i want them to know you are not alone. wow. this is really powerful. that was the u.s. surgeon general vivek murthy, addressing what he is calling an epidemic of loneliness and isolation hitting this entire country. his advisory lays out six pillars to address this problem. strengthen social infrastructure, establish pro connection, public policies, address social connection through public health systems, reform digital environments, deepen knowledge to address gaps in the data and build a culture of connection. this is after he wrote a really powerful and personal op-ed a few days ago the n
