Punjab Government would be recruitment as many as 50,000 people till March 31, 2021. The cabinet has also approved restructuring of 10 departments and 7th CPC pay matrix for Govt. employees.

Kickstarting the process of recruitment to 50,000 government posts during the current fiscal, the Punjab Cabinet on Wednesday approved restructuring 10 departments, paving the way for boosting their functional efficacy through technical upgradation.

Punjab Government to recruit 50K; 10 depts to be restructured

The Punjab Cabinet on Wednesday decided to recruit 50,000 officers this fiscal as part of the restructuring of 10 departments.
The new recruitment will be made possible by surrendering or abolishing the existing posts. The focus is on creating relevant posts and doing away with non-essential ones, many of which have been lying vacant for years.
Road Safety Associates to be hired
Family counselling units to be formed in all districts
Fresh recruitment in the Prosecution Department
In all, 15 posts of Road Safety Associate to be created
The 10 departments to be restructured are Labour, Technical Education and Industrial Training, Public Works Department (B&R), Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Local Government, Printing and Stationery, Sports and Youth Service Welfare, Defence Services Welfare, and Cooperation. ....

Telangana: Stringent action against private security agencies operating without a licence, warns Govt

The Home Department of Telangana has warned persons and entities offering private security agency services with stringent action if they operate without a licence.
Citing the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act of 2005 and Rules formed in 2008, the Home Department said it is a punishable offence to offer private security agency services without a valid licence.
“A jail term of one year or a fine (or both) of Rs 25,000 will be awarded to the offenders,” the Home Department has said in a statement on Thursday. ....
