Former BBC journalist Martin Bashir is set to be found guilty of deceiving Diana, Princess of Wales, in the lead up to her iconic 1995 Panorama interview.
An inquiry is expected to find Mr Bashir employed deceitful methods to gain the Princess s trust and breached multiple media guidelines in order to secure the interview.
According to the late Princess s brother, Earl Spencer, Mr Bashir presented him with bank statements that showed key members of Diana s staff were on the payroll of major news outlets and leaking stories to the press about her.
