Retired Brigadier General Manuel Gaerlan officially took his oath as the new Clark Development Corporation (CDC) president and chief executive officer Thursday.

Gaerlan then met with the CDC management team to discuss the need to focus on the economic “reset, rebound and recover” plan as the country continues to face the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said that as the other government agencies work on testing, vaccination and quarantines, the CDC should concentrate on enhancing the business of the economic zone in support of the national government’s efforts in combatting the impact of the pandemic.

+ January 14, 2021 CLARK FREEPORT Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Director Manuel Gaerlan took his oath Thursday, January 14, as president and CEO, becoming the 13th top executive to head the state-run government corporation since its inception in 1993.
He officially replaced Noel F. Manankil, who resigned in October 2020.
On the interim, Engr. Mariza O. Mandocdoc, vice-president for Administration and Finance Group (AFG), served as officer-in-charge.
