A Kodiak man was charged last week after he allegedly disobeyed pretrial enforcement orders. He had already been facing charges for driving under the influence and misconduct involving controlled substances and weapons. Andresito Bautista, 43, is facing three counts of felony escape in the third degree, one count of felony failure to appear, and two counts of misdemeanor violation of conditions of release, according to court documents. After his court orders for the charges in February, Bautista was put under house arrest and ordered not to possess or consume controlled substances without a doctorâs order. Bautistaâs conditions of release stated that he was under âPretrial Enforcement Division Supervision: Defendant shall be supervised by the PED office during pretrial period ⦠maintain contact with the PED officer and follow all of the officerâs instructions.â ....
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers assisted by Klawock PD, Craig PD and Pretrial Enforcement, arrested a Klawock man on Friday for drug misconduct. 34-year-old Michael Howard, who is on pretrial supervision, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and heroin. Howard was arrested and the investigation also resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Kiarra Smith who was also living at the same residence. Both Howard and Smith were remanded to the Craig Jail for Misconduct involving a controlled substance. Howard was also remanded for the additional charge of violating conditions of release. Ultimately, over 5 grams of methamphetamine and over 16 grams of heroin was seized. ....
