Preston Simons Google s sister company Verily Life Sciences has named Preston Simons as its chief information officer. As Verily s CIO, Simons will build out the Alphabet subsidiary s information-technology systems and strategies. Simons mostly recently worked as a consultant as president and managing partner of Simons & Associates, a role he started in 2018. He previously served as executive vice president and CIO at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, before the system s 2018 merger with Advocate Health Care. Before joining Aurora Health Care, Simons had served as vice president of IT and CIO of medical-device and pharmaceutical manufacturer Abbott Laboratories for a decade. Verily also in January named Andreas Drew Panayiotou as chief marketing officer. ....
