A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli said it is for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) to explore the various possibilities to create storage facilities for LMO and oxygen cylinders in the city.
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday said it appears that the Delhi government has not taken steps for creation of a buffer of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) and for streamlining its distribution in the national capital.
A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli said it is for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) to explore the various possibilities to create storage facilities for LMO and oxygen cylinders in the city. ....

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday said it appears that the Delhi government has not taken steps for creation of a buffer of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) and for streamlining its distribution in the national capital.
A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli said it is for the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) to explore the various possibilities to create storage facilities for LMO and oxygen cylinders in the city.
The court said that the GNCTD may take help of the Delhi Technological University to prepare a blueprint for storage and distribution of oxygen in the city. ....

It plans to increase production from 1,200 MT to 3,000 MT
The Maharashtra Government is gearing up for the third wave of Covid in the country. Among the various preparations, the State is planning to increase its per day oxygen making capacity from 1,200 metric tonnes to 3,000 metric tonnes, said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday.
He was addressing the people of the state via social media platforms.
The Principal Scientific Advisor to the Central Government, K Vijay Raghavan, also on Wednesday had said the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic was inevitable given the elevated levels of virus movement in the country. ....

The All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF) has offered to the Central Government the support of defence civilian employees in ordnance factories for manufacture of oxygen generation plants.
In a letter to the Director General of Factories and Chairman of Ornance Factory Boards, its general secretary C.Srikumar said in a crisis situation causing deaths of hundreds of COVID-infected patients due to non-availability of oxygen, OFB can prove its capability in utilising in-house expertise for the purpose.
In the wake of the Defence Minister directing OFB and Defence Public Sector Undertakings to immediately start manufacturing oxygen generation plants, OFC Kanpur has developed in-house a PSA (Pressure Swing Absorption) based oxygen generation plant. Similarly Machine Tool Prototype Factory, Ambernath, has successfully converted the existing PSA nitrogen unit into PSA oxygen unit. ....
