Apple, SK Telecom in talks to bring Apple TV+ content to South Korea


 
Apple is reportedly discussing a potential partnership with South Korea-based SK Telecom to bolster distribution of Apple TV+ content in the country.
The premium Apple streaming service is not currently available in South Korea. However, it appears that Apple is looking into establishing content distribution partnerships in the region.
Local carrier SK Telecom is reportedly pursuing a partnership with Apple TV+ to provide original films and shows to its customers. According to a report from Korean language
MTN, a contract between the two may be on the horizon.
The partnership could see an Apple TV+ subscription bundled with SK Telecom carrier plans, similar to collaborations in the U.S. between Verizon and Disney+. ....
