Monmouth College is 94 percent of the way to reaching a goal for its "Light This Candle" campaign. Launching in March of 2019, the "Light This Candle" campaign has raised $70.4M on a goal of $75M with 11 months still to go. The campaign has four objectives: to add to a capital improvements fund that supports infrastructure; create a strong financial base for the College by building an even stronger culture of philanthropy; increase scholarships and financial aid; and create more opportunities for faculty and staff support and academic innovation. "I am quite pleased with the Campaign reaching the $70 million level, but I am not surprised in any way," said William Goldsborough, national Campaign chair. "We have a strong base of committed, engaged alums who have had a great experience at Monmouth and who wish to make the same opportunity available to today's and future students.
