This may be the calm before the storm.
Thursday is the last published day on the US Supreme Court calendar to release opinions from its current term (though they have a few more weeks for orders). It’s a term that saw a meaningful challenge to the ACA last November. It was a case many thought could not be overturned, based on the line of questioning from the justices. But for that to happen, Justices Roberts and Kavanaugh both will need to break from the 6-3 conservative majority to craft a majority opinion with the three more liberal justices to keep the ACA in some form. That seems a tough reach. ....

I have Down s syndrome but, I can learn, think, and feel just like anyone else; this is my take on COVID-19 living. I did not know what to expect with a year of COVID-19. I depend on my parents for transportation and even with that, we went very few places. Restaurants and movies were out. We have had friends and relatives pass away due to the disease. DENVER — A bill to expand a prescription drug importation program in Colorado has cleared a House committee.
Senate Bill 21-123 would expand the program to allow Colorado to import medications from countries like Japan, France and Australia.
The bill is an extension of a law that passed in 2019 that allowed Colorado to ask the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to grant a waiver for medication imports from Canada. ....
