Now, Judge Merchan has a pending motion before him to vacate the verdict. That motion is supposed to be decided by September 18th. By September 16th, a couple of days before. The conventional wisdom is hes going to deny it and move on to sentencing. Theyre telling him, you should hold the sentencing if at all until after the election and one of most interesting features they say is if you deny our motion to set aside the verdict, by postponing the sentencing, you will allow us to pursue appellate options.
