Officers responded to a call at around noon about a reckless and dangerous driver on State Route 69 near Fain Road. Police attempted to pull over the driver, 29-year-old Travis Stanford. He fled police at high speeds and drove aggressively the wrong way on a one-way road. Officer didn’t pursue Stanford due to public safety concerns. Stanford was later located in the Prescott Ridge area. When officers again tried to stop Stanford, he made a U-turn and attempted to ram a police vehicle blocking his way, nearly hitting an officer. Shortly after, Stanford fled his car on foot and ran into a nearby revine. That’s when officers went after Stanford and arrested him without further incident.
