General, you have a long and distinguished career of service. You continued that service by leading the department of justice, an agency that by its very nature is prone to controversy because of the varied opinions on what it means to obtain justice. However, you clearly understand the department you need must have confidence of the american decisionsn when your are not always well deceived. The first year has not been without difficulty, which is expected at the outset of the new administration. You dont have the improper Political Engagement under the Obama Administration. But there is enough responsibility amim sorry, enough plane, responsibility, and complicity to go around. The reasons forward when the inmates, their behavior, from an, from an ethnicity standpoint blacks blame whites, whites and blacks. But there is enough responsibility for both. When it comes to the judicial system there is a factor we fail to look at.
Oh denial, unemployment, free trade, congressional dysfunction, all of these things seem to overlap. The New York Times cover this recently in july bipartisan pushed to builds to relax laws. Guest i do see this really strong bipartisan support in this area, this region, that we reside in, we have interest from democrats, republicans, people who want to see a change in how the system works, and the successes we are having. I see really strong support for outcomes, and not necessarily affiliations. We have been doing it for 20 years. When we began this, people would say that children were dying before they became adults with this disease and people would say, if we keep working hard, eventually we will find a cure. Today, if you are born with Cystic Fibrosis, there are medicines that have been discovered in the last 34 years, and more on the way, that will ultimately allow someone with Cystic Fibrosis to live as long as everybody else. Our grandchildren, being born today, if we get this right, will live way beyond 100 years.
