WATCH: Community leaders prepare for ‘Walk to End Gun Violence
As shootings continue to plague Memphis, another “Community Walk to End Gun Violence” is set for Saturday in Frayser.
“It’s National Crime Victims’ Rights week. Come out for the 38 children who lost their life last year,” said District Attorney Amy Weirich.
Weirich said fighting crime is not just something police can do on their own.
Weirich called on the community after hundreds of murders in Memphis last year and dozens more already this year. ....
