Acute Hepatitis Cases in Children Reported Across Europe

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) recently confirmed probable cases of acute hepatitis of unknown etiology in children across Europe. As of May 10, 2022, approximately 105 cases have been identified in 13 EU/EEA countries, with Italy (35) and Spain (22) reporting the most cases.
