The province says there are 109 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba, including 51 in Winnipeg.
New COVID-19 cases include:
four cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region
two cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region
51 cases in the Winnipeg health region
Two previously identified cases have been removed due to a data correction.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate in Manitoba is 4.8 per cent, and 4.4 per cent in Winnipeg. The province says 2,073 tests were completed yesterday.
Twenty-two cases of the B.1.1.7 COVID-19 variant have been identified, with 21 of those from Winnipeg. The twenty-second case is from Prairie Mountain, bringing the number of B.1.1.7 cases to 261. B.1.351 cases remain at 20. There are a total of 18 uncategorized variant cases after adding three new cases, one from Prarie Mountain and two from Winnipeg, to the count Wednesday. ....
