Grammy Award-winning rapper Prakazrel "Pras" Michel of The Fugees is found guilty of conspiring with a Malaysian financier to orchestrate a series of foreign lobbying campaigns aimed at the US government under two presidents.
WASHINGTON: Pras Michel, a founding member of the US hip-hop group the Fugees, has been convicted of being involved in a multi-million-dollar conspiracy aimed at influencing the White House under two administrations and for working as an agent for China.
A Fugees rapper accused in multimillion-dollar political conspiracies spanning two presidencies was convicted on Wednesday. Prakazrel Pras Michel, 50, plans to appeal.
