Former World No. 1, Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone has tested positive for COVID-19. Padukone is the father of noted actress Deepika Padukone. According to media reports,
the 65-year-old is recovering from the novel coronavirus and an infection at a hospital in Bengaluru and is most probably going to be discharged this week.
Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive, Vimal Kumar, a close friend of the family and the director at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA), told PTI. ....
