Three Pottawattamie County COVID vaccine clinics fully booked

By Julia Bertino Feb 11, 2021 (Pottawattamie County, IA) Three COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Pottawattamie County announced on Wednesday were all filled up by Thursday morning. Pottawattamie County Public Health said as of 10:00 Thursday morning, their COVID-19 vaccine clinic appointments are full. In less than 24 hours, the three vaccine clinics, for residents 65 and older, had all 3,300 COVID-19 vaccine appointments filled. “We did the best we could to create a simple registration process. Despite the initial influx that bogged the system and the phone lines temporarily, 3,300 individuals registered for a vaccine in less than 24 hours,” said Matt Wyant with Pottawattamie County Public Health. “We hope to receive more vaccine in March so we can offer another set of clinics.”
