Prairie Avenue, roundabouts open

Traffic is once again moving on Prairie Avenue between State Highway 41 and North Meyer Road in Post Falls following a closure of nearly 20 weeks.

That stretch of the popular arterial reopened Oct. 23 after the installation of roundabouts at Fennicus and Zorros roads, just east of Highway 41. The Zorros roundabout was the latest to be completed. ....

Post Falls approves $148.4 million budget

The city of Post Falls has approved its budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Post Falls City Council members unanimously voted in favor of the $148,435,141 budget during a regular meeting Tuesday evening. This is about $4.8 million less than the previous fiscal year's $153,193,332 budget and nearly $49 million more than the 2021-2022 budget of $99,678,119. ....
