Peter James Charlton, 27, pleaded guilty on Friday in Gladstone Magistrates Court to possessing dangerous drugs and two counts of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used. Police prosecutor Tania Griffiths said police executed search warrant at Charlton’s residence on December 30, 2020. He said police from Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch attended the address about 2pm and detained Charlton for a search. Ms Griffiths said Charlton declared numerous items at the start of the search, including four separate amounts of cannabis, which totalled 12.4 grams.

Jessica Kate Rawlings, 36, pleaded guilty to possessing dangerous drugs and possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence. Police prosecutor Carl Spargo read the facts of Rawlings’ case to the court and Magistrate Bevan Manthey. About midnight on February 9, Rawlings was observed sitting in the carpark of the BP petrol station on the corner of Ballantine St and Aerodrome Rd at Clinton. Rawlings was detained for a search, which uncovered a clip-seal bag that contained 0.3 grams of cannabis hidden in her bra and an empty clip-seal bag in her handbag.

CQ mum 'was helping friend quit' drug addiction

Premium Content Subscriber only A full-time mum claims she was helping a friend quit their drug addiction when she was caught in possession of methamphetamine, after police raided her home in December. Amanda Joy Perks, 43, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 11 to one count each of possess dangerous drugs and possess utensils or pipes that had been used. Police prosecutor Sergeant Darrell Dalton said police executed a search warrant at a home in Rockhampton on December 22, 2020 and found a clip-seal bag containing 0.4g of meth. Sgt Dalton said police found a container which had a further three more clip-seal bags of meth.
