A trust spokesperson said: Volunteers from Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth will soon be able to receive a third ‘booster’ vaccine through a new clinical trial launching this week. The study, backed by £19.3m of government funding through the Vaccines Taskforce, will be run at University Hospital Southampton, University Hospitals Dorset and the Portsmouth Research Hub (Portsmouth Hospitals).
