everybody go up, down, move what you going to do today hey, dancing. all right. well, a homeless man in florida is accused of staying at lavish hotels courtesy of complete strangers. yes, police say he entered rooms after guests left, stole their i.d.s, basically called the front desk and stayed for days and he did it for two years. brian hughes reports from orlando. reporter: david price has been homeless for the past two years, but on some nights he found shelter at the most lavish hotels in orange county. the ritz-carlton, hard rock, and portofino bay. he did it on other people s dime. that s having a good time at someone else s expense. reporter: police have gotten reports of price rechecking into hotel rooms. he would watch a guest leave and claim he is that person. once in the room, price would call the front desk and say he ....
Wanted to extend his stay sometimes by ten days. here at portofino bay universal, price racked up $9,000 on charges on a ohio man s credit card. i spoke to that man on the phone. i don t know how he in my room, how he got my debit card. but he got like the best wines, the best restaurants, room service. he bought clothes and the whole lot. reporter: just a few days ago police arrested price after he made his way into a room at the hard rock hotel previously occupied by a hotel worker. security knew the employee had already left so they called police. officers apparently found items from other hotels in the room including the peabody on international drive and the four seasons in miami. i am not condoning crime or identity theft or whatever, but that is a smart homeless dude. two years? whoo, working the system. i sell the rooms by the hour. ha-ha. ....
